Digital health record for India

Your health,
one ID.

Prescriptions in a drawer. Reports on WhatsApp. X-rays in a plastic bag. JeevanPatra replaces the paper trail with one QR health ID that your doctors, labs and pharmacies all read — with your consent, every time.

Free for patients, forever. No card, no spam — just an ID that works.

The problem we refuse to accept

Paper doesn't remember.
People shouldn't have to.

/ 011 bag

The plastic-bag medical history

Most Indian families still carry their entire medical past to every consult — folded prescriptions, faded reports, films that crack. One monsoon, one house move, and it's gone.

/ 027 min

Repeating your story, again

Every new doctor starts from zero: allergies, surgeries, current medicines, family history. Precious consultation minutes spent reconstructing what should already be on the table.

/ 03

Tests you already paid for

When old reports can't be found, tests get prescribed again. Duplicate diagnostics waste money and delay treatment — and the new report gets lost the same way the old one did.

“The most expensive record system in the world is the one where the patient is the database, the courier, and the backup.”

— The reason JeevanPatra exists

How it works

Three steps. Then it just follows you.

No app hopping, no uploads-by-email, no “bring the file next time”. Set it up once and every visit after that starts with a scan.

Create your JeevanPatra ID

Sign up with your phone number, add basics like blood group and allergies. You get a permanent 14-digit ID and a QR card — printable, shareable, yours for life.

Under 2 minutes

Link your care circle

Connect your family doctor, preferred lab and neighbourhood pharmacy. Old records? Photograph them once — they're organised into a clean, searchable timeline.

One-time setup

Walk in with just a QR

At the clinic, the doctor scans your card and sees what you consent to share. Prescriptions land in your app; the pharmacy dispenses against the same ID. No paper changes hands.

Every visit after

The JeevanPatra card

A card your grandmother can use.
A system hospitals can trust.

The card itself holds nothing but an ID — lose it and nothing leaks. Scan it, and with the patient's consent the full picture appears: history, allergies, medicines, reports. Simplicity in the hand, rigour underneath.

  • Works offline, prints on paperThe QR encodes only your ID. No internet at the clinic? The 14-digit number can be typed in. A ₹2 printout is a valid card.
  • Consent on every scanDoctors see records only after you approve — per visit, per provider. Revoke anytime from your phone. Every access is logged, and you can read the log.
  • One phone, whole familyAdd parents and children under your account. Manage your father's BP medicines and your daughter's vaccination chart without juggling logins.
  • Valid across IndiaMove cities, switch hospitals, see a specialist on a trip — your ID and records travel with you. Built to align with ABDM-era standards.

Every report, every prescription,
one quiet timeline.

The app stays out of your way until you need it — then everything is exactly where you left it.

Records that organise themselves

Photograph it once.
Find it forever.

Every consult, report and dispense lands on one chronological timeline — automatically, because your providers write to the same ID. Old paper records join with a photo. No folders to maintain, no filenames to invent.

  • Search like you speak

“sugar report last March” works. Filter by doctor, lab, condition or date.

  • Trends, not just files

HbA1c, BP, cholesterol plotted across years — see direction, not snapshots.

  • Share a slice, not the safe

Send only your knee MRI to the orthopaedic — nothing else travels.

Scan. Dispense. Reconciled.

No more deciphering handwriting or photocopying prescriptions for the drawer. Scan the patient's QR, see the doctor's exact order, dispense against it — stock and transaction records update themselves.

  • Zero-ambiguity orders

Salt, strength, dosage and duration exactly as prescribed — digitally signed by the doctor.

  • Inventory that keeps itself

Every dispense decrements stock. Low-stock alerts and expiry tracking built in.

  • Generic substitution, transparently

Offer same-salt generics with one tap — the doctor and patient both see the change.

One connected circle of care

Four roles. One record.
Everyone reads from the same page.

Most health apps serve one side and bolt the rest on. JeevanPatra was designed as a network from day one — every consult, test and dispense strengthens the same patient record.

Patient

Owns the record

Carries one ID, grants consent per visit, sees every access in a readable log.

Doctor

Writes with context

Sees history on scan, prescribes with safety checks, refers with records attached.

Pharmacy

Dispenses precisely

Fulfils signed digital orders, syncs stock, offers transparent generic substitutes.

Lab

Publishes instantly

Issues signed reports with structured values that feed long-term health trends.

⊕ The JeevanPatra spine

Consent-gated APIs connect all four — no role talks to the database directly, and every exchange is logged against the patient's ID.

Security & privacy

Health data is not a growth metric.

We don't sell data, run ads, or “share with partners”. Your record exists for exactly one purpose: your care. Here is how we keep it that way.

  • 01
    Encrypted end to end

TLS in transit, AES-256 at rest. Row-level policies mean even a compromised query can't cross patient boundaries.

  • 02
    Two-factor authentication

TOTP-based 2FA on every account type — patients, doctors, pharmacies and labs alike.

  • 03
    Device sessions you control

See every phone and browser signed into your account. One tap revokes any of them, instantly.

  • 04
    Secure consent

Purpose-limited, revocable, and fully logged. Built for maximum privacy and data security from the ground up.

  • 05
    Verified providers only

Doctors, labs and pharmacies pass credential verification before they can touch a single record.

An honest comparison

Booking apps book. Pharmacies sell.
Nobody keeps the record.

India has excellent apps for ordering medicines and finding doctors. What it lacks is the connective tissue — a record that outlives any single app, visit or vendor. That's the layer we build.

From the clinics using it

Quiet software, loud relief.

Earlier my compounder spent mornings pulling old files. Now the patient's whole history is on screen before I finish saying namaskar. The interaction alerts have caught things I would have caught — but at 9 pm on a Saturday, I'm glad something else is also awake.

My father is diabetic and lives in another city. I book his check-ups, see his reports the moment the lab uploads them, and his pharmacy dispenses against the same prescription I can read. One account, whole family. That's the feature.

Handwritten prescriptions were our biggest daily risk. With signed digital orders there is no guessing, and stock updates itself with every dispense. We closed our first month with inventory matching to the strip.

Questions, answered plainly

Everything people ask us.

Is JeevanPatra really free for patients?

Yes — creating your health ID, storing records, booking appointments and receiving e-prescriptions are free, with no booking fees and no premium wall on your own data. The platform is sustained by subscriptions from clinics, labs and pharmacies who save real money on administration.

What happens if I lose my card or phone?

Nothing is stored on the card — it carries only your ID, like a key without a house attached. Print a new one anytime. If your phone is lost, sign in on any device and revoke the old session from Settings → Devices in one tap.

Can a doctor see my records without asking me?

No. Scanning your QR sends a consent request to you first. You approve what they see — the full timeline or just what's relevant — and can revoke access after the visit. Every access is written to a log you can read in plain language.

My parents aren't comfortable with apps. Can I manage their records?

Yes. Family profiles let you hold your parents' and children's IDs under your own account. They carry their printed QR cards; you handle bookings, reports and reminders from your phone.

How do the medicine safety checks work?

When a doctor prescribes, each medicine is checked against your active prescriptions, recorded allergies and history — flagging interactions and duplications before the prescription is signed. It's an assist for the doctor, never a replacement for their judgement.

Is my data safe? Where is it stored?

Records are encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256), with row-level security so data physically cannot cross patient boundaries. Accounts support authenticator-app 2FA.

Does JeevanPatra work with ABHA / ABDM?

JeevanPatra is built to align with ABDM-era standards, and linking your ABHA number is on our public roadmap. Our goal is one record that plays well with India's digital health ecosystem — not another silo.

I run a clinic / pharmacy / lab. How do I join?

Register from the sign-up page and submit your credentials — medical registration, drug licence or lab accreditation. Verification typically completes within two working days, and our team helps with onboarding your existing patients.
